Colorado Division of Insurance, Department of Regulatory Agencies

The Division regulates the bail bonding business and handles complaints against bail bonding agents: a person writing bail is licensed as an insurance producer and appointed by a bail insurer, and cash-bonding and professional cash-bail agents register with the Division.

Reading Virginia’s rules properly took months, and six of them still went to a lawyer with a question mark on them. We have not done that for Colorado.
