The court with criminal jurisdiction in the county
Tennessee approves bondsmen court by court rather than through a single state licensing agency. A court may withhold, withdraw or suspend approval, the bondsman may answer the charges in writing and be heard, and a refusal can be appealed to the next highest court with criminal jurisdiction and heard afresh.
